Travelling back

on

Tonight, my thoughts will slink under the window sill and through the sharp cold of the night

To float between the stars

And into the old warehouse of a home we used to play in

*

Tonight, I will revisit what might soon be lost

And we shall twirl with the hookahs

Dance between the smoke and the smell

Kiss among the dark

And fall

And fall

Fall

*

Perhaps, here, I shall melt you again

Like the first time

And while the warmth grows within

The smiles seem to me faded, and cold

With the guilt of what might be hovering over me

*

So let me revisit what might soon be lost

Twirl between the smoke and the scent

Dance with the hookahs

Kiss the beer bottles

Grow numb with the movies on the big screen TV

And fall

Fall

Fall
